So, how should I pitch it?

We’ve taken the liberty of whipping up a template for you to help translate the value of Purpose Conference to your workplace. 

Here is some suggested wording you could use to get them over the line.

Dear [boss]

I’d like to use my FY23 learning and development budget [or another available training or business development budget], to attend Purpose Conference on 8-9 November at Carriageworks.

Purpose Conference promises cutting-edge ideas, world-leading thinkers and meaningful connections, and this year’s themes focus on:

• Technology and Ethics

• Regenerative Systems

• Transforming Capitalism

• Climate Countdown

Over two days, and capped at 1,000 delegates, 50+ speakers will present keynotes, presentations, workshops and networking events geared towards real-world change. 

I believe it will be enormously beneficial to my personal development as well as the future growth of our business. I’d be more than happy to present an overview of my time at the conference to our team following the event. Or better yet, why don’t we book as a group?
