About RACHEL

Rachel Castelino founded Blume Prebiotic Tonic in 2022 after struggling with her own health issues and noticing a lack of better-for-you beverage options that appealed to younger and mainstream consumers. Rachel sees her role as offering Australians an accessible and delicious way to consume plant fibre to nourish their gut microbiome.

Rachel's experience working in Washington, D.C. at a think tank and a public affairs firm gave her the pragmatic insight that nudging people to make healthier choices starts with being realistic, listening to their needs, and suggesting better alternatives rather than expecting consumers to change their behaviour entirely with finger-wagging.

Rachel wanted to fill the gap in the market for a fun and tasty beverage option made with 6g of plant fibre and wholesome ingredients for the everyday consumer.

As an entirely bootstrapped and solo female-founded company, Blume has achieved 70+ stockists including Harris Farm Markets and WHSmith and is just getting started.
