About TAMSIN
Tamsin Leads programs and community for Small Giants and Academy including the Mastery of Business and Empathy to equip people to become the business, social and political leaders we need in the Next Economy.
A business and political strategist by training, Tamsin has founded and scaled impact organisations and innovation programmes in Europe, Africa and Australia and worked with policy makers and corporates on strategic initiatives and partnerships.
She is a regular commentator and advisor on topics such as women in leadership, social innovation and entrepreneurship. In 2016, Tamsin co-founded a pan-African solution to source and promote exceptional female talent to boards and investment committees. She frequently speaks and facilitates events on board governance and transformative leadership based on her experience and insights gained from thousands of conversations with senior executive women.
Prior to her work on gender balance, Tamsin cultivated networks designed to for innovation including the Workshop17 entrepreneurship hub and a pan African leadership network called The Africa List.
She has held advisory roles with the UK Government’s development finance institution, British International Investment, AustralianAid and an organisation seeking to provide quality last-mile telecommunications services.
Earlier in her career, Tamsin was a political and policy advisor to the Premier of South Australia over a term and two campaigns. Tamsin is a trustee of the FlipFlopi initiative seeking to eliminate single-use plastics and preserve our oceans, and Impact Champion on women in leadership at The Conduit London. Tamsin holds an MBA from the Said Business School of the University of Oxford, where she was awarded a Skoll Scholarship for Social Entrepreneurship.
