Today is an impact innovation agency, helping change makers in progressive organisations think bigger and make meaningful change. We’re all about the power of creativity and collective action to imagine and make a brighter tomorrow.

    Today works with organisations across Australia to reimagine tomorrow. We use strategy, research, technology, and design methods to co-create with organisations, their communities, and their beneficiaries.

    We design inclusive, thoughtful, and ambitious systems and services by ensuring people with lived and living experience play a meaningful role in genuine co-design programs.

    We believe that inclusive design, embracing diversity in all its forms, leads to better outcomes.

    Founded on purpose

    Ten years ago our co-founders Damon O’Sullivan and Adam Morris stepped forward to create something new: An agency focused only on generating value for people and the planet. They saw that change makers wanted support to engage the communities they served, to imagine a better future together and to make big ideas happen.

    Since then we’ve worked on hundreds of projects that make the case for radical change. We’ve worked with the deaf and hard of hearing community to create a way for everyone to learn conversational Auslan; with people at risk of self-harm and suicide to design a better crisis support service; with young men to better handle rejection online; and with everyday Australians to shift attitudes on climate action.

    Today is now a team of 60 designers, strategists, researchers, and technologists; bringing together multidisciplinary teams to make change.

    As the Executive Director, Creative and Strategy, Sam works with leaders from across Today’s different practice areas to nurture our creative culture and evolve the way we make change through design and innovation.

    Sam is a passionate believer in the power of ambitious and creative thinking, who draws on a broad range of tools and methods to help organisations explore what’s possible.

    He provides strategic and creative leadership across a breadth of sectors and client challenges—digital transformation, organisation design, brand strategy, product innovation—with organisations from Australian Conservation Foundation to University of Melbourne to Xero.
